![]() ![]() Robert Englund returns for the last time in his final portrayal of the infamous Freddy Krueger. Lisa Zane stars as a child psychologist with horrible recurring nightmares that eventually lead her to the town of Springwood. There, she meets a mysterious "John Doe," who has no memory of who he is but only that he is "the last" of wherever he is from. Freddy is back one last time, invading the minds and stealing the souls of more of Elm Street's unknowing children. The mysteries are all revealed as Freddy moves in for the final kill. Would Freddy prevail, or Freddy truly be dead? Buffvenis: 3/10, THIS was supposed to be the end of Freddy Krueger? You've got to be kidding me. Freddy just didn't seem like Freddy in this one. The story idea had potential, but I think they were too concerned with their 3-D effects that they forgot to make this a good movie. Freddy was too much of a wimp. He was transformed from the scary monster he was in the early films and into a stand-up comedian in this one. The music in it was good for once, but that's all I can give this movie. It's just not scary, and it was definitely a horrible way to supposedly end the series. RufRydDog: 3/10, This is supposed to be the last Nightmare movie? What? This is supposed to end the legendary Freddy Krueger? What? Please, get real. This movie sux, bottom line. Total Score: 6 out of 20. Average Score: 3. Percentage Score: 30 percent. NOTE: These ratings are the ratings of the Freddy's Lair experts, buffvenis and RufRydDog (Pictured at left, top to bottom respectively).
